Go pick up the new maximum rock and roll and see a new column I ah e in it ( I also have one in last months and next months) for coverage on YI, RUSSIAN TOP GUN, NEW CRIME, COOL LIFE, and XEROX. This issue also has a great interview with UNA BESTIA INCONTROLABLE and a very accurate (and funny) review of the new FUCKYOUPAYME record. As well as plenty of eye rolling bullshit for all of you idiots out there.

My house went to live in the big punk house in the sky last night. I got the privilege to play the last set ever at it. I spent all month working to make this blowout work and it went excellently. About 20 pies were slammed in my face, a lot of shit got smashed. Felt fuckin good. I’m gonna miss this house. I booked, played, and attended the best shows of my life this past year in this shit hole. Bobb recorded our set (and almost everyone elses) this weekend. sounds really good for a mic hanging above the band getting smacked and pied non stop, check it out fuckers.

Tomorrow is a one night art opening for the project THINKS TANK thought up by Max Wheeler. I am responsible for about half of the works in this show. The initial idea of this art show was to take previous ideas and art and mutate them into a showing that is accessible and in some way interesting to anyone who chooses to look at it. My contributions mutated largely off of a quote from an interview I did recently with MALPORTADO KIDS for MRR where Victoria says “I think we want people to like, find that queerness in them, find that like identity in our selves, like find something in ourselves that is often stomped on by the cultural hegemonic powers.” This quote struck me well, as I believe in myself, that part being stomped on is my truest form, I want to find that identity in its fullest and live it out. Unfortunately the powers that believe to be work very hard to stomp us, to silence us. I wanted to take that thought and let in mutate in me as a reminder to myself ,and hopefully others, as to why we won’t let our identities (and selves) be stomped.  My works aim to show that the hegemonic pigs have the power to stomp us with their boots and will do so if we try to live our lives with any kind of comfort and sincerity. I aimed to show so with the hopes that by understanding the struggle they cause us we can understand the necessary outlets to release our anger, violence, power, and energy. It is absolutely disgusting where western society, modern culture, and counter culture chose to distribute their anger and power while the ruling class has distributed all of theirs downward since the beginning of time as we know it. These works took a propagandist direction as most of my works do, mixing dark political messages with exciting and stimulating color schemes and formats. I believe I ended up using these works to explore the gap in my life where I am exist in society obviously a freak and a faggot, and the days I exist as a faceless cog eating Burger King on my lunch break.  While I still haven’t reached an answer to how I can live productively as just a zit ugly on the face of society I have reminded myself why I ain’t gonna let them pop me.
Anyway come to Skylab tomorrow night, look at my crap watch me dance and sing.
